Grants:

The Community Development Resource Center in the Institute for Urban Research has received another round of funding in the amount of $50,200 grant from the Baltimore City Department of Housing and Community under the City’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.

This grant which runs from the period March 1, 2009 to February 28, 2010 will enable the Institute to continue to provide research support and technical assistance to various communities in Baltimore City.

Under the grant, the Institute will undertake the development of two community profiles as well as planning and implementation of two seminars/workshops to assist communities undertaking re-development efforts in Baltimore City. The Institute is very grateful for the City in providing this support which enables Morgan State University to continue its outreach effort to Baltimore Communities and beyond.
